Worcester Technical High School Class of 2026 graduate Joel Kimani is headed to WPI this fall to study Cyber Security after earning the prestigious Great Minds Scholarship, which covers the full cost of attendance.
At Worcester Tech, Joel balanced AP and Early College coursework, earned industry certifications, excelled in SkillsUSA competitions, and served as both a peer mentor and student leader. Next, he plans to pursue a career as a Security Engineer for a large company.
